Thank you for contacting Northern Firewood's web site, we would like to give you a little information on our company.  Northern Firewood, first started in 1980 the first two years in business we were a tree service company doing tree removal; we then started selling the firewood we accumulated. 

Since then we have a customer list of over 10,000 making us one of the largest firewood company in the nation.  We at Northern Firewood have our own unique processing system which enables us to split out the rot from the wood and consistently cut and split the wood to uniform sizes.  We process all of our own wood rather than buying or selling which results in consistent quality year after year.  At our wood yard we stockpile thousands of cords of wood to season.  So that we have it when you need it.  Firewood is a renewable resource that has remained the lowest in price for a source of heat.  Firewood is a steady radiant heat. 

Here at Northern Firewood we have expanded our business in the year 2000.  Northern Firewood became a dealer for colored mulch, carrying the best quality colored mulch available.   No recycled material used!  All mulch is double ground from a virgin wood source we then add enough color so the mulch doesn't fade in one season.  We deliver it by the cubic yard, a fraction of the cost of buying bags of mulch.
